- – Performed cooling system pressure testing and found large leak @ water pump. – Engine passes hydrocarbon testing at this time, however due to size of leak we will need to retest following initial repairs to verify head gasket integrity. – Recommend replace water pump and retest for faults (Water pump is driven by timing chain and replacement will include full timing chain component kit including all new timing chain components, VVT solenoids, and VVT actuators. Replacement process will cross contaminate engine oil and cooling system requiring coolant flush and engine oil change as part of procedure)
