Complimentary Vehicle Service Inspection
– Confirmed, test drove and was able to verify noise present from front suspension intermittently. – Inspected and found excessive play in both lower ball joints and control arm bushings worn/cracked. – Front struts also worn, noise present from mounts and tires are cupping w/ balding on inside edge due to soft suspension. – Recommend replace front strut assemblies, lower control arms, perform alignment and retest for noise concern. – Rear shocks are worn, recommend replace. – Although rear tires have good tread life remaining and no abnormal tread wear, vehicle is AWD and in order to replace worn front tires customer would need complete matching 4 wheel set. – Recommend either rotate tires at the least or replace all four tires.
Inspect for external oil leaks, add dye to oil and inspect with black light.
