    • – Confirmed, found minor lack of assist. – Inspected and found steering rack has internal excessive play / wear & tear; small amount of play @ inner tie rods. – Recommend replace steering rack and inner tie rods and retest for customer's concern.
    • Complimentary Vehicle Service Inspection
    • – A/C operational on arrival, never able to observe lack of function, however performance is slightly weak. – Evacuated system and recovered 1.8 Lbs. of R134a, performed and passed system vacuum leak testing, recharged to capacity of 2.5 Lbs and added dye to system in case of repeat leak down. – Verified system still operational at time of testing, advise customer if a/c becomes inoperable again further diagnosis may be required due to being intermittent fault that is not present at time of testing.

    • – Confirmed, found warning active on arrival. – Scanned and retrieved DTC P1289 indicating cylinder head temperature sensor reading out of expected range. – Performed pinpoint testing and found wiring damaged going to cylinder head temperature sensor due to rodent intrusion. – Found rodent nesting/droppings present in same area under intake manifold. – Thermostat easily accessible while intake removed for repairs. – Multiple coolant hoses collapsed / under excessive vacuum. – Recommend replace cylinder head temperature sensor, repair wiring harness, perform rodent decontamination, replace coolant reservoir cap, flush engine cooling system, replace thermostat, re-assemble and retest engine / cooling system performance & retest A/C performance.
