– Confirmed, found warning active while driving. – Performed cooling system pressure and hydrocarbon testing and found no signs of failure. – Found large air pocket trapped in system; likely as result of engine running w/o drive belt for water pump leading to over temperature condition causing coolant to boil out from reservoir cap. – Evacuated system and performed air bleed procedure to remove excessive air from cooling system. – Refilled to capacity and verified engine cooling system operating within specification at time of testing and no longer setting temperature warning lamp intermittently.
