- – Confirmed, found noise present from engine water pump. – Inspected and found water pump bearings failing and causing noise. – Both water pump drive belt and serpentine drive belt in poor condition. – Engine coolant in poor condition. – Recommend replace water pump, both drive belts, flush coolant, and retest for noise concern/ retest cooling system performance.
- WATER PUMP – Remove & Replace [Includes: Replace Water Pump Drive Belt and Serpentine Drive Belt]
- Add coolant flush to system, run to get to operating temperature. Vacuum evacuate cooling system, Refill with new coolant and coolant conditioner. Verify operation of thermostat.
